Follow these 9 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the power off slider appears. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone completely before proceeding with the repair.
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Use a Pentalobe screwdriver (P2) to remove the two screws located at the bottom edge of the iPhone, next to the charging port.
Heat and Lift the Screen
Warm the edges of the screen using an iOpener or hairdryer for a few minutes to soften the adhesive. Attach a suction handle near the bottom edge of the screen and gently pull up to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and slide it around the edges to separate the adhesive.
Disconnect the Battery
Open the phone like a book from the left side. Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector bracket, then use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery connector from the logic board.
Remove the Display Assembly
Remove the screws securing the display connector bracket using a tri-point Y000 screwdriver. Carefully disconnect the display cables using a spudger. Remove the old display assembly completely.
Install the New Screen
Carefully align the new screen with the connectors on the logic board. Reconnect the display cables and secure them with the connector bracket using the tri-point screws.
Reconnect the Battery
Reconnect the battery connector to the logic board. Secure it with the connector bracket using the Phillips screws.
Seal and Secure the Screen
Align the top edge of the screen with the top edge of the iPhone frame, then carefully press the edges to secure the adhesive around the device. Reinstall the two Pentalobe screws at the bottom edge of the iPhone.
Test the New Screen
Turn on the iPhone and test the new screen to ensure it is functioning correctly. Check touch sensitivity, display clarity, and functionality of the new screen.
