Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Power off your iPhone and remove the two 6.7 mm pentalobe screws located at the bottom edge of the phone next to the charging port using a P2 screwdriver.
Heat the Screen
Apply heat to the edges of the iPhone using a heat gun or iOpener to soften the adhesive securing the display. Do not overheat to avoid damaging internal components.
Separate the Screen
Place a suction handle near the bottom edge of the phone and gently pull up to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully slide it around the edges to separate the adhesive. Lift the display assembly slightly to avoid damaging the attached cables.
Disconnect the Battery
Remove the screws securing the battery connector cover using a Tri-point Y000 screwdriver. Remove the cover and use a plastic spudger to disconnect the battery connector from the logic board.
Disconnect the Display Cables
Remove the screws securing the display cable bracket using a Tri-point Y000 screwdriver. Remove the bracket and use a spudger to disconnect the display and digitizer cables.
Remove the Old Screen
Lift the display assembly carefully from the body of the phone. Be cautious of any remaining adhesive or cables that may still be attached.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the body of the iPhone and connect the display and digitizer cables to the logic board. Ensure they are securely fastened.
Reassemble the iPhone
Reattach the display cable bracket and secure it with screws. Reconnect the battery connector and secure its cover. Carefully align the screen and press it into place, securing the adhesive. Replace the two pentalobe screws at the bottom of the phone.
