Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the power off slider appears. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone completely.
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Use a Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two screws located on either side of the Lightning port at the bottom of the iPhone.
Open the iPhone
Use a suction cup to gently lift the display, creating a small gap. Insert an opening pick into the gap. Carefully slide the pick along the edges to release the adhesive, separating the display from the body. Be gentle to avoid damaging the cables inside.
Disconnect the Battery
Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws securing the battery connector cover and remove the cover. Use a plastic opening tool to gently disconnect the battery connector from the logic board to prevent any power from running through the device.
Disconnect the Display Cables
Remove the screws securing the bracket that covers the front panel sensor assembly connector. Use a plastic opening tool to disconnect the three display cables by gently prying them up from the logic board.
Remove the Old Display
Carefully lift the display assembly away from the device. Ensure no cables are still connected or snagged.
Install the New Display
Position the new display close to the device. Connect the three display cables to the logic board by firmly pressing them into place. Replace the bracket and screws securing these connections.
Reconnect the Battery
Reconnect the battery connector to the logic board. Replace the battery connector cover and secure it with screws.
Seal the Device
Align the new display with the frame and press firmly to adhere the new adhesive strips. Ensure all edges are flush and secure.
Power On and Test the New Screen
Power on your iPhone by pressing and holding the side button. Test the new screen for touch sensitivity and display clarity to confirm a successful installation.
