Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the power off slider appears. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone 13 Pro completely.
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Use a Pentalobe screwdriver (P2) to remove the two screws located at the bottom edge of the iPhone near the charging port.
Apply Heat to the Screen
Use a heat gun or an iOpener to gently heat the edges of the screen. This softens the adhesive holding the screen in place. Be careful not to overheat the device to avoid damaging internal components.
Separate the Screen from the Body
Place a suction handle near the bottom edge of the screen and gently pull up to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and slide it around the edges to separate the adhesive. Carefully lift the screen, but do not fully remove it yet as it is still connected by cables.
Disconnect the Battery
Remove the screws securing the battery connector cover using a tri-point screwdriver (Y000). Use a spudger to carefully disconnect the battery connector from the logic board to prevent electrical discharge during the repair.
Disconnect the Screen Cables
Remove the screws securing the screen connector bracket with a Phillips screwdriver (PH000). Carefully disconnect the display cables using a spudger or tweezers. This will fully detach the screen from the device.
Install the New Screen
Carefully connect the new screen by reattaching the display cables to the logic board. Secure the screen connector bracket with the screws removed earlier.
Reconnect the Battery
Reconnect the battery connector and secure the battery connector cover with the screws. This step ensures that the device will power on properly after the repair.
Seal the Screen
Align the new screen and press it into place. Use screen adhesive or a replacement screen seal if necessary to ensure a proper fit. Apply gentle pressure along the edges to secure the adhesive.
Reassemble the Device
Replace the two Pentalobe screws at the bottom edge of the iPhone. Power on the device to verify the new screen functions properly and the touch responsiveness is restored.
