Follow these 6 steps to complete your repair
Power Down and Remove Pentalobe Screws
Turn off your iPhone 14 Pro and remove the SIM card tray. Use a Pentalobe screwdriver (P2) to remove the two screws located on either side of the charging port.
Apply Heat and Open the Display
Apply a heat gun or hairdryer to the edges of the phone to loosen the adhesive securing the display. Attach a suction handle to the lower half of the front panel, and gently pull up to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully slide it around the edges to release the adhesive. Open the phone like a book, with the display to the right.
Disconnect the Battery Connector
Use a Phillips screwdriver (PH00) to remove the screws securing the battery connector bracket. Carefully lift the bracket with tweezers and disconnect the battery connector using a spudger.
Remove the Old Battery
Peel back the adhesive tabs at the bottom of the battery. Slowly and steadily pull each tab to release the battery from the adhesive. If the adhesive breaks, use a plastic tool to gently pry the battery free. Avoid using excessive force to prevent battery damage.
Install the New Battery
Clean the battery bay with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove old adhesive residue. Place the new adhesive strips in the bay and press the replacement battery into place. Reconnect the battery connector and secure the bracket using the removed screws.
Reassemble the iPhone
Carefully align the display connectors and press them into place. Secure the display connector bracket with the screws you removed earlier. Close the display and press firmly along the edges to ensure the adhesive seals the phone. Reinsert the two Pentalobe screws at the bottom of the device.
