Follow these 9 steps to complete your repair
Prepare the Work Area
Ensure you have a clean and organized workspace. Gather all your tools and materials listed above. Power off your iPhone 15 Pro completely before starting.
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Using the Pentalobe screwdriver (P2), remove the two screws located at the bottom edge of the iPhone, near the charging port. Keep these screws safe for reassembly.
Heat and Loosen the Adhesive
Use an iOpener or hairdryer to apply heat around the edges of the screen for about 1-2 minutes. This will soften the adhesive, making it easier to separate the display from the frame.
Open the Display
Place a suction cup on the lower half of the front screen. Gently pull up on the suction cup while using a plastic opening tool to separate the screen from the body. Carefully work your way around the edges to fully release the display without pulling it off completely.
Disconnect the Battery
Using the Tri-point screwdriver (Y000), remove the screws securing the connector bracket. Gently lift the bracket and disconnect the battery connector using a spudger to avoid accidental short circuits.
Remove the Old Battery
Use tweezers to carefully peel off the adhesive strips securing the battery. If necessary, use isopropyl alcohol to help dissolve stubborn adhesive. Gently lift the battery out using a plastic tool. Do not puncture the battery.
Install the New Battery
Place the new adhesive strips in the battery compartment. Align the new battery and press it firmly into place. Reconnect the battery connector to the logic board.
Reassemble the iPhone
Reattach the connector bracket and secure it with the Tri-point screws. Carefully align the display and press it into place until it clicks. Reinsert the Pentalobe screws at the bottom.
Test the Device
Power on your iPhone 15 Pro and verify that it turns on and functions correctly. Ensure the screen is responsive and the battery is charging properly.
