Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Hold down the power button until the 'slide to power off' option appears. Slide to power off the iPhone completely.
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Using the Pentalobe screwdriver (P2), remove the two screws located on either side of the dock connector at the bottom of the phone.
Separate the Back Panel
Place a suction cup near the home button and gently pull upwards to lift the back panel. If necessary, use a plastic opening tool to help release the panel from the clips.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector. Use a spudger to gently lift the battery connector from its socket on the logic board. Carefully remove the battery.
Remove the Logic Board Screws
Remove the screws securing the logic board shield using the Phillips #000 screwdriver. Carefully lift the shield and disconnect the cables connected to the logic board using a spudger.
Remove the Display Assembly
Gently lift the display assembly from the frame by using the plastic opening tools around the edges to separate the adhesive. Be careful not to damage the home button or front camera.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame and press down gently to secure it in place. Make sure all connectors are properly seated.
Reassemble the iPhone
Reverse the disassembly process: reconnect the cables to the logic board, replace the logic board shield, and secure it with screws. Reinstall the battery and back panel. Finally, replace the two Pentalobe screws.
