Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button until the 'slide to power off' slider appears. Slide to power off your iPhone 6 completely.
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Use the Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two screws located on either side of the lightning port at the bottom of the phone.
Separate the Screen Assembly
Place a suction cup just above the home button and gently pull upwards to create a small gap between the screen and the body. Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry around the edges, starting from the bottom of the device. Be gentle to avoid damaging the cables.
Disconnect the Battery
Remove the screws securing the battery connector bracket with the Phillips screwdriver. Use a spudger to disconnect the battery connector carefully to avoid short circuits.
Disconnect the Screen Cables
Remove the screws securing the metal bracket covering the display cables. Use the spudger to carefully disconnect the front camera, LCD, digitizer, and home button cables.
Remove the Old Screen
Once all cables are disconnected, you can safely remove the old screen from the phone body.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the phone body and connect the front camera, LCD, digitizer, and home button cables. Ensure each connector is properly seated.
Reconnect the Battery
Reconnect the battery connector with the spudger and replace the metal bracket, securing it with the screws.
Secure the Screen
Gently press the screen into place starting from the top. Replace the two Pentalobe screws at the bottom of the device.
Power On and Test
Turn on your iPhone 6 and test the new screen for functionality, including touch responsiveness and display quality.
