Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button until the 'slide to power off' option appears. Slide to power off the device completely.
Remove the Pentalobe Screws
Use a Pentalobe (P2) screwdriver to remove the two screws located on either side of the lightning port at the bottom of the device.
Separate the Display Assembly
Apply a suction cup to the lower half of the front panel. Gently pull up on the suction cup while using a plastic opening tool to carefully separate the display assembly from the rear case. Start at the bottom and work your way around the edges. Be cautious of the display cables connected at the top right corner.
Disconnect the Battery Connector
Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector bracket. Remove the bracket, then use a spudger to disconnect the battery connector from the logic board to prevent electrical discharge.
Disconnect the Display Cables
Remove the screws securing the display cable bracket using a Phillips #000 screwdriver. Carefully lift the bracket away, then use a spudger to disconnect the three display cables: the front panel sensor assembly cable, the display cable, and the digitizer cable.
Remove the Old Display
Once all connectors are detached, you can remove the old display assembly entirely from the iPhone body. Be cautious of any remaining adhesive.
Install the New Display
Position the new display assembly near the device. Reconnect the front panel sensor assembly cable, display cable, and digitizer cable. Ensure each connector is securely in place.
Reconnect the Battery and Secure the Brackets
Reconnect the battery connector to the logic board. Replace and secure the display cable bracket and the battery connector bracket with the Phillips #000 screws.
Seal the Display Assembly
Carefully align the new display with the frame and press it into place. Ensure it is properly seated along all edges. Secure the display by replacing the two Pentalobe screws at the bottom of the device.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device and test the new screen to ensure all functions are working properly, including touch response and display clarity.
