Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove Back Cover
Turn off your LG V20 Mini by pressing and holding the power button. Once it's off, remove the back cover by carefully prying it open from the notch at the bottom using your plastic opening tool.
Remove Battery and SIM/SD Card
Take out the battery by lifting it from the bottom using your fingers or the opening tool. Eject the SIM and SD card trays using a SIM ejection tool or a paperclip.
Unscrew and Remove Midframe
Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the midframe. Carefully use the plastic opening tool to pry the midframe away from the phone body. Set it aside.
Detach Display Connectors
With the midframe removed, locate the display connectors and use the nylon spudger to gently disconnect them. This will free the display assembly from the phone.
Heat and Remove Old Display
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to apply heat around the edges of the display to soften the adhesive. Apply the suction cup to the display and gently lift while using the plastic opening tools to separate the screen from the device. Be patient and avoid using excessive force.
Install New Display
Align the new screen with the device and connect the display connectors. Ensure they are securely attached. Carefully place the new screen onto the frame, pressing firmly to secure it.
Reassemble the Phone
Reattach the midframe and secure it with the screws removed earlier. Insert the battery, SIM, and SD card. Snap the back cover back into place.
