Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Prepare the Device
Turn off your Motorola Moto E30 completely. Remove any SIM card or memory card from the device. Place the phone on a clean, flat surface to prevent scratches.
Remove the Back Cover and Battery
Use the plastic opening tool to gently pry off the back cover of the phone. Once removed, use your fingers or a spudger to carefully disconnect and remove the battery.
Unscrew and Remove the Midframe
Using the Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove all screws securing the midframe. Carefully lift the midframe using the spudger or a plastic opening tool.
Disconnect the Display Cable
Locate the display cable connector and use the spudger to gently disconnect it from the motherboard. Be cautious not to damage the connector or surrounding components.
Heat and Remove the Broken Screen
Use a heat gun or hairdryer on low heat to gently warm the edges of the screen. Once heated, use the suction cup to lift the screen and a plastic opening tool to separate it from the frame. Be patient and careful to avoid damaging the frame.
Install the New Screen
Remove any adhesive residue from the frame using a microfiber cloth. Apply new adhesive strips or double-sided tape to the frame. Position and carefully attach the new screen, ensuring alignment with the frame.
Reconnect the Display Cable and Assemble the Phone
Reconnect the display cable to the motherboard. Reattach the midframe and secure it with screws. Place the battery back in its compartment and snap the back cover onto the phone.
