Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Before starting the repair, ensure your Motorola Moto E32 is completely powered off to prevent any electrical damage. Press and hold the power button, then select 'Power Off' from the options.
Remove the Back Cover
Using a plastic opening tool, carefully pry around the edges of the back cover to release the clips securing it to the phone. Work slowly to avoid damaging the cover.
Detach the Battery Connector
Locate the battery connector on the motherboard. Use a spudger to gently pry up and disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard to avoid any electrical shorts.
Heat the Screen
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently warm the edges of the screen. This softens the adhesive holding the screen to the device chassis. Do not overheat, as this may damage internal components.
Remove the Screen
Place a suction cup near the top of the screen and lift gently to create a gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and slide it around the edges to release the adhesive. Carefully lift the screen away from the device.
Disconnect the Screen
Use tweezers to disconnect the screen's ribbon cable from the motherboard. Take care not to damage the connector.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen's ribbon cable with the connector on the motherboard and secure it in place. Ensure the connection is firm and the cable is not twisted.
Secure the Screen
Carefully align the new screen with the chassis and press it into place. Use new adhesive strips or double-sided tape to secure the screen. Ensure there are no gaps around the edges.
Reconnect the Battery
Reattach the battery connector to the motherboard using a spudger to press it down gently, ensuring a secure connection.
Reattach the Back Cover and Test
Snap the back cover into place, ensuring all clips are secure. Power on the device and test the new screen to ensure it is functioning correctly.
