Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button until the power menu appears, then tap 'Power Off' to turn off your Motorola Moto E7 Power. Wait for a few seconds to ensure it's completely powered down.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry open the back cover of the phone. Start at a corner and work your way around the edges, being careful not to damage the clips holding the cover in place.
Disconnect the Battery
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the battery connector shield. Carefully detach the battery connector using a plastic tool to avoid short-circuiting.
Remove the Midframe
Unscrew the screws holding the midframe in place using a Phillips #00 screwdriver. Once the screws are removed, gently pry off the midframe using the plastic opening tool.
Detach the Screen Assembly
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive. Apply heat evenly for about 1-2 minutes. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly, then slide a plastic opening tool underneath to separate the screen from the body. Be cautious around the cables.
Install the New Screen
Position the new screen on the device, ensuring all ribbon cables are properly aligned and connected. Secure the screen by pressing it firmly into place, making sure the adhesive holds.
Reattach the Midframe and Back Cover
Reposition the midframe and secure it with the screws removed earlier. Reconnect the battery and replace the connector shield. Snap the back cover into place, ensuring all clips are securely fastened.
Power On and Test the Device
Turn on your Motorola Moto E7 Power and test the functionality of the new screen. Check for proper touch responsiveness and display clarity. If everything is working correctly, your repair is complete.
