Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Motorola Moto E7i Power completely. Use the SIM card eject tool to remove the SIM card tray and set it aside.
Remove Back Cover
Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry around the edges of the back cover to remove it. Be careful not to damage the clips holding the cover in place.
Disconnect Battery
Locate the battery connector and use a spudger to carefully disconnect it. This is crucial for preventing short circuits during the repair.
Remove Display Assembly
Use a hairdryer or heat gun on a low setting to gently heat the edges of the screen. This softens the adhesive holding the screen in place. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly and insert a plastic opening tool to carefully pry it up. Work your way around the screen to fully release it from the frame.
Install New Screen
Align the new screen carefully with the device. Use adhesive strips or tape to secure it in place. Ensure all connectors are properly aligned and connected before proceeding.
Reconnect Battery and Test
Reconnect the battery connector using the spudger. Power on the device to test the new screen. Make sure the display is functioning correctly and the touch response is accurate.
Reattach Back Cover and SIM Card
Once satisfied with the screen installation, reattach the back cover by pressing it firmly into place. Reinsert the SIM card tray.
