Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Motorola Moto Edge 30 Neo completely. Use a SIM card ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device.
Heat the Edges of the Screen
Using a heat gun or hairdryer, apply gentle heat around the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive. Be careful not to overheat the device to prevent damage.
Remove the Damaged Screen
Place a suction cup near the edge of the screen and gently pull up to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool or prying pick into the gap and carefully work your way around the device to release the adhesive. Lift the screen slowly and detach it from the connectors using tweezers.
Clean the Frame
Use a microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol to clean any remaining adhesive residue from the phone's frame. Ensure the surface is clean and smooth for the new screen installation.
Connect the New Screen
Carefully connect the new screen's flex cables to the motherboard. Make sure each connector is aligned correctly and securely attached.
Secure the New Screen
Apply adhesive strips or screen adhesive around the edges of the phone frame. Carefully align the new screen and press it firmly into place, ensuring all edges are secured.
Reassemble and Test
Reinsert the SIM card tray and power on the device. Test the new screen for proper functionality, ensuring touch sensitivity and display clarity are intact.
