Tools Required
- Phillips #00 screwdriver
- Plastic opening tool

- Pre-cut adhesive strips or double-sided adhesive tape

Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button until the power menu appears. Tap 'Power Off' to turn off the device completely before starting the repair.
Remove the SIM Card Tray
Use a SIM card ejection tool or a paperclip to remove the SIM card tray from the side of the phone.
Heat the Back Cover
Use an iOpener or hairdryer to apply heat around the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. This should take about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to overheat the device.
Open the Back Cover
Use a suction cup to lift a small part of the back cover. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and gently slide it around the edges to release the adhesive. Carefully remove the back cover.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector shield. Use a spudger to disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Remove the Old Screen
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove any screws securing the display connector shield. Disconnect the display connector. Carefully use a plastic opening tool to separate the screen from the frame, starting from one corner.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the device's frame. Connect the display connector to the motherboard and secure it with screws. Ensure the screen is properly seated and adheres to the frame.
Reconnect the Battery and Close the Back Cover
Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard. Replace the battery connector shield and secure it with screws. Apply new adhesive to the back cover and press it firmly onto the device.
Reinsert the SIM Card Tray
Place the SIM card tray back into its slot on the side of the phone.
Power On the Device
Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. Check the functionality of the new screen to ensure proper installation.
