Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device and Remove SIM Card
Ensure your phone is completely powered off. Use the SIM card ejection tool to remove the SIM card and tray from the device.
Heat the Edges of the Screen
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the screen. This will soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove the screen. Be careful not to overheat the device.
Pry Open the Screen
Place a suction cup on the screen to lift it slightly, creating a gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work your way around the edges to separate the screen from the phone. Use the spudger to assist. Be patient and avoid rushing this step to prevent damage.
Disconnect the Screen from the Motherboard
Once the screen is lifted, locate the display cables connecting it to the motherboard. Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the connector bracket. Use tweezers to gently disconnect the cables.
Install the New Screen
Carefully connect the new screen's display cables to the motherboard. Secure the connector bracket with screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver. Ensure all connections are firm and secure.
Seal the Screen
Align the new screen with the frame. Use the adhesive strips provided with the replacement screen to secure it. Press firmly along the edges to ensure the adhesive sets properly.
Reinsert the SIM Card and Power On
Reinsert the SIM card tray into the device. Power the phone on to test the new screen for responsiveness and display quality.
