Follow these 6 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Ensure your phone is turned off. Use the SIM card eject tool to remove the SIM card tray, ensuring no components are damaged during the repair.
Heat the Edges of the Screen
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to evenly heat the edges of the phone's screen for about 1-2 minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the screen, making it easier to remove.
Remove the Screen
Place a suction cup on the lower part of the screen and gently pull up to create a gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work your way around the screen to separate it from the frame. Use a spudger to disconnect the display connector once the screen is lifted.
Clean the Screen Frame
Once the screen is removed, clean the frame thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth. Remove all adhesive residue to ensure the new screen adheres properly.
Prepare and Install the New Screen
Attach new adhesive strips or apply screen adhesive to the frame. Align the new screen with the frame, connect the display connector, and gently press the screen into place. Ensure it is securely attached.
Reassemble the Device
Reinsert the SIM card tray into the phone. Power on the device to test the new screen and ensure all functions are working properly.
