Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button to turn off the Motorola Moto G24. Wait until the screen goes completely dark to ensure the device is fully powered down.
Remove the Back Cover
Using a plastic opening tool, gently pry around the edges of the back cover. Start from one corner and carefully work your way around the device until the cover is completely removed.
Detach the Battery Connector
Locate the battery connector and use a spudger to gently lift it from its socket. This prevents power from flowing through the device while you're working.
Loosen the Screen Adhesive
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to evenly heat the edges of the front screen of the Moto G24. This will soften the adhesive holding the screen in place. Be careful not to overheat the device.
Remove the Front Screen
Place a suction cup near the top of the screen, avoiding any cracked areas. Gently lift the screen with the suction cup while using a plastic opening tool to separate the screen from the frame. Work your way around the edges until the screen is free.
Disconnect the Screen Cable
Carefully disconnect the flex cable that attaches the screen to the motherboard. Use tweezers if necessary to gently pull the connector free.
Install the New Screen
Connect the new screen's flex cable to the motherboard. Align the new screen with the frame and press down gently to secure it in place.
Secure the Screen
Apply adhesive strips or double-sided tape around the edges of the frame. Carefully press the new screen into place, ensuring it is securely attached.
Reconnect the Battery and Replace the Back Cover
Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard. Align the back cover with the device and press down firmly around the edges to snap it back into place.
Power On the Device and Test
Power on the Motorola Moto G24 to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly. Test touch responsiveness and display quality to confirm a successful repair.
