Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Motorola Moto G35 completely. Use the SIM eject tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device to prevent any damage during the repair.
Remove Rear Cover
Apply gentle heat around the edges of the rear cover using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly, and insert a plastic opening tool to gently pry it off. Work slowly to avoid damaging the cover or internal components.
Unscrew and Remove the Midframe
With the rear cover removed, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the midframe. Carefully lift the midframe away from the device using a spudger, ensuring not to damage any flex cables.
Disconnect the Battery
Locate the battery connector and carefully disconnect it using a spudger to minimize the risk of short-circuiting. Handle the battery with care to avoid puncturing it.
Disconnect and Remove the Old Screen
Disconnect the display connector by gently prying it away with a spudger. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to apply heat to the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive. Employ a suction cup and a plastic opening tool to lift and remove the old screen.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen carefully with the frame of the device. Connect the display connector securely. Use adhesive strips to secure the new screen in place. Ensure there are no gaps or misalignments.
Reassemble the Device
Reconnect the battery connector. Reattach the midframe and secure it with the screws removed earlier. Carefully place the rear cover back onto the device, applying gentle pressure to ensure the adhesive holds.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device and test the new screen for functionality. Check for touch responsiveness and display quality. Ensure all components are working properly before concluding the repair.
