Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Ensure your Motorola Moto G52 is powered off completely. Press and hold the power button, select 'Power off' from the on-screen menu, and wait for the device to shut down.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry open the back cover from the phone. Work your way around the edges gently to avoid breaking the clips. Once loosened, remove the cover and set it aside.
Disconnect the Battery
Locate the battery connector and use a plastic spudger to carefully disconnect it from the motherboard. This step is crucial to prevent any electrical shorts during the repair.
Remove the Screws
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove all screws securing the midframe. Keep track of the screws, as they are often different sizes. Once the screws are removed, gently lift the midframe away from the device.
Detach the Display Connector
Locate the display connector attached to the motherboard. Use a plastic spudger to carefully disconnect it. Ensure not to damage the connector or surrounding components.
Remove the Old Screen
Apply gentle heat around the edges of the screen using a heat gun or hairdryer to loosen the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly, and insert a pry tool to separate the screen from the frame. Work your way around until the screen is free.
Prepare the New Screen
Clean the frame with isopropyl alcohol to remove any remaining adhesive. Prepare the new screen by attaching adhesive strips or double-sided tape around its edges.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame and press it into place. Ensure the edges are flush and the adhesive is secure. Reconnect the display connector to the motherboard.
Reassemble the Device
Carefully place the midframe back on the device and secure it with the screws you removed earlier. Reconnect the battery connector, ensuring it is securely attached. Finally, snap the back cover back onto the phone, ensuring all clips are engaged.
Test the New Screen
Power on your Motorola Moto G52 and test the new screen for responsiveness and display quality. Ensure all functions work as expected.
