Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Down the Device
Ensure your Motorola Moto G60S is completely powered off. Press and hold the power button until the power menu appears, then select 'Power off'.
Remove the SIM Tray
Use a SIM eject tool or a paperclip to remove the SIM card tray from the side of the phone. Set it aside safely.
Heat the Screen Edges
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the screen for about 1-2 minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the screen.
Pry Open the Screen
Using a suction cup, create a small gap between the screen and the frame. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work your way around the edges to loosen the adhesive.
Disconnect the Display Cable
Once the screen is loosened, gently lift it from the frame. Use a spudger to disconnect the display cable attached to the motherboard.
Remove the Old Screen
Carefully remove the screen entirely from the phone and set it aside. Ensure no adhesive or glass shards remain on the phone's frame.
Install the New Screen
Position the new screen and connect the display cable to the motherboard. Ensure the connection is secure and aligned.
Secure the Screen
Apply adhesive strips or double-sided tape around the frame. Carefully align the new screen and press it into place to secure it.
Reassemble the Device
Reinsert the SIM card tray. Ensure all components are securely in place.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device and test the new screen for functionality. Ensure touch responsiveness and display clarity are as expected.
