Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Power off the Motorola Moto G75 5G to ensure safety. Use the SIM eject tool or a paperclip to remove the SIM card tray from the phone. Set the SIM card and tray aside.
Heat the Screen Edges
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the phone's screen. This softens the adhesive holding the screen in place. Heat for about 1-2 minutes, moving the heat source continuously to avoid overheating any spot.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly. Insert a plastic pry tool into the gap and gently work around the edges to release the clips. Carefully remove the back cover and set it aside.
Disconnect the Battery
Identify the battery connector on the motherboard. Use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues during the repair.
Detach the Old Screen
Use a plastic pry tool to carefully lift the old screen from the frame. If the adhesive is still strong, apply more heat as needed. Disconnect the screen's ribbon cable from the motherboard using tweezers or a spudger.
Install the Replacement Screen
Align the new screen with the frame. Connect the screen's ribbon cable to the motherboard. Secure the screen in place using double-sided adhesive tape around the edges.
Reassemble the Phone
Reconnect the battery and ensure all connectors are securely attached. Carefully snap the back cover into place, making sure all clips are engaged. Reinsert the SIM card tray.
Power On and Test
Power on the phone to test the new screen. Ensure the display is functioning correctly and the touch sensitivity is responsive. If any issues arise, double-check connections.
