Before starting the repair, completely power off your Moto G Power 2022 to prevent any electrical damage or injury. Hold the power button until the 'Power off' option appears and select it.

Use the SIM card ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray. This is located on the side of the device. Carefully set the SIM card and tray aside.

Using a heat gun or hairdryer, gently heat the edges of the phone's screen to soften the adhesive. This will make it easier to detach the screen. Be careful not to overheat any area as it may damage internal components.

Place a suction cup near the top edge of the screen and apply gentle pressure. Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry open the screen from the frame. Work your way around the edges, being cautious of any cables connected to the screen.

With the screen slightly lifted, use a spudger to gently disconnect the display and digitizer cables. These are located on the bottom of the phone. Be careful not to tear any cables.

Once the cables are disconnected, fully remove the old screen from the device. Clean any residual adhesive from the frame with isopropyl alcohol to ensure a smooth installation of the new screen.

Carefully align the replacement screen and reconnect the display and digitizer cables. Ensure all connections are secure, and that the screen sits flush against the frame.

Apply the adhesive strips around the edges of the frame. Press the new screen firmly into place to ensure it adheres properly. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to avoid damaging the new screen.

Reinsert the SIM card tray and ensure everything is properly aligned. Power on the device to test the new screen for functionality.

Test the touch functionality and display quality of the new screen. Make sure it is responsive and displays colors correctly. Ensure the phone is reassembled correctly and all components are secure.
