Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair

1

Power Off the Device

2 min

Ensure your Motorola Moto G Power 2025 is completely powered off before beginning the repair. Hold the power button and select 'Power Off' from the menu.

2

Remove the Back Cover

5 min

Use the plastic pry tool to gently lift and remove the back cover of the phone. Start at the bottom edge and work your way around to avoid damaging the clips.

3

Unscrew the Midframe

8 min

Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the midframe. Keep the screws organized as they will be needed for reassembly.

4

Detach the Battery Connector

3 min

Use the spudger to carefully disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard to prevent any short circuits during the repair.

5

Heat the Screen Edges

5 min

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the screen. This softens the adhesive, making it easier to remove the screen. Do not overheat the device.

6

Remove the Screen

10 min

Place a suction cup on the screen and gently pull to create a gap. Insert a plastic pry tool into the gap and carefully work your way around to detach the screen from the frame. Be cautious of ribbon cable connections.

7

Disconnect the Screen Connector

5 min

Once the screen is lifted, use the spudger to disconnect the screen ribbon cable from the motherboard. Remove the screen completely.

8

Install the New Screen

10 min

Connect the new screen's ribbon cable to the motherboard. Align the new screen with the frame and press gently to adhere. Ensure the fit is snug and even.

9

Reassemble the Device

10 min

Reconnect the battery connector, replace the midframe, and secure it with the screws. Carefully snap the back cover back into place.

10

Power On and Test

2 min

Power on the device and test the new screen for responsiveness and clarity. Ensure all functions are working properly before concluding the repair.
