Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Motorola Moto G24. Use a SIM card eject tool or a paperclip to remove the SIM card tray from the device.
Remove Back Cover
Utilize a plastic opening tool to gently pry off the back cover. Start from the bottom of the device and work your way around the edges until the cover is detached.
Detach Battery Connector
Locate the battery connector on the motherboard. Use a spudger to carefully disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues during the repair.
Loosen Adhesive with Heat
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently warm the edges of the screen for about 30 seconds. This will soften the adhesive and make it easier to remove the screen.
Remove the Broken Screen
Place a suction cup on the screen and gently pull upwards while using a plastic opening tool to pry around the edges. Carefully remove the screen from the device, taking care not to damage the ribbons connected to the motherboard.
Disconnect Display Cables
Once the screen is lifted, use tweezers to carefully disconnect the display and digitizer cables from the motherboard.
Attach New Screen
Connect the new screen's display and digitizer cables to the motherboard. Ensure they are securely attached before proceeding.
Secure New Screen
Align the new screen with the device frame and press down gently to secure it in place. Apply adhesive strips or double-sided tape if necessary to ensure a solid fit.
Reassemble Device
Reconnect the battery connector and reattach the back cover. Insert the SIM card tray back into the device.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly. Check for responsiveness and display quality.
