Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Heat the Edges
Ensure your Moto G32 is completely powered off to prevent any electrical damage. Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the phone. This will soften the adhesive securing the screen. Maintain a safe distance to avoid overheating.
Remove the Back Cover
Using a plastic opening tool, carefully pry around the edges to separate the back cover from the phone. Start from the bottom and work your way around. Be patient to prevent cracking the cover.
Disconnect the Battery
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the battery connector cover. Use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Detach the Screen
Locate the screen connector and carefully detach it using a spudger. Once disconnected, use a suction cup to gently lift the screen from the frame. If necessary, use a plastic opening tool to assist in loosening the screen.
Remove the Old Screen
Once the screen is detached, carefully peel it away from the device. Remove any remaining adhesive residue from the frame using tweezers or a spudger.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame and connect the screen connector to the motherboard. Ensure it is securely in place. Test the screen functionality before proceeding.
Secure the Battery and Back Cover
Reconnect the battery connector and secure it with the cover and screws. Carefully reattach the back cover by pressing it around the edges until it clicks into place.
Final Testing
Power on the device to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly. Test the display responsiveness and check for any issues.
