Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair

1

Power Off and Remove SIM Card

5 min

Begin by powering off your Moto G35 completely. Use the SIM ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device to prevent damage during the repair.

2

Heat the Edges of the Old Screen

5 min

Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the screen. This will soften the adhesive holding the screen in place. Be careful not to overheat and damage the internal components.

3

Remove the Old Screen

10 min

Carefully place a suction cup on the screen and gently pull to create a gap. Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry around the edges to fully detach the screen. Work slowly to avoid damaging the LCD.

4

Disconnect the Screen from the Motherboard

10 min

Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the metal shield covering the display connector. Use a spudger to disconnect the old screen's flex cable from the motherboard.

5

Install the New Screen

10 min

Carefully align the new screen and connect its flex cable to the motherboard. Replace the metal shield and secure it with screws. Ensure the connector is firmly in place to avoid display issues.

6

Secure the New Screen

10 min

Apply new adhesive strips or double-sided tape along the edges of the frame. Carefully press the new screen into place, ensuring it is aligned properly. Use a microfiber cloth to clean the screen surface.

7

Reassemble and Test the Device

10 min

Reinsert the SIM card tray and power on your device. Test the new screen's functionality, checking for touch sensitivity and display clarity. Ensure everything is working properly before concluding the repair.
