Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Motorola Moto G41. Use the SIM card eject tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device.
Remove Back Cover
Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry off the back cover from the device. Start at one corner and work your way around the perimeter until the cover is completely detached.
Unscrew and Remove Internal Components
Using the Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove all visible screws securing the internal components. Carefully lift and set aside the plastic midframe using a spudger.
Disconnect Battery and Display Cables
Use tweezers to carefully disconnect the battery and display cables from the motherboard. This will ensure no power is running through the device during the repair.
Heat and Remove Old Screen
Gently heat the edges of the screen using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly, then insert a plastic opening tool to separate the screen from the device. Work slowly to avoid damaging internal components.
Install New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame of the device. Use adhesive strips or double-sided tape to secure it in place. Press firmly around the edges to ensure proper adhesion.
Reconnect Cables and Reassemble Device
Reconnect the display and battery cables to the motherboard. Reattach the plastic midframe and secure it with screws removed earlier. Ensure all components are properly aligned.
Reattach Back Cover and Test Device
Snap the back cover back onto the device, ensuring it clicks into place. Reinsert the SIM card tray and power on the device to test the new screen. Check for responsiveness and display clarity.
