Tools Required

Follow these 9 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Tray
Completely power off your OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. Use the SIM eject tool to remove the SIM card tray and set it aside.
Heat the Edges of the Display
Use a hairdryer or heat gun to gently heat the edges of the phone for about 2-3 minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the screen in place, making it easier to pry off.
Remove the Back Cover
Insert the plastic opening tool between the back cover and the frame. Carefully work your way around the edges to release the clips. Be gentle to avoid cracking the back cover.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector cover. Use the spudger to disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard to prevent electrical damage.
Release the Old Screen
With the screen still warm, use the suction cup to lift the screen slightly and insert a plastic opening tool. Carefully work around the edges to separate the screen from the frame. Be mindful of the display cable on the side.
Remove the Display Cable
Once the old screen is loose, gently lift it and use tweezers to disconnect the display cable from the motherboard.
Install the New Screen
Connect the new screen's display cable to the motherboard. Align the new screen with the frame and press it into place. Ensure it is secure and flush with the edges.
Reconnect the Battery and Secure the Cover
Reconnect the battery connector and replace the battery connector cover. Screw it back into place. Reattach the back cover, pressing around the edges to secure all clips.
Power On and Test
Reinsert the SIM card tray. Power on your OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and test the new screen for functionality. Ensure touch responsiveness and display quality are as expected.
