Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Prepare the Device
Before beginning the repair, ensure your OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is powered off. Remove the SIM card tray using a SIM eject tool and place it aside. Place the phone on a clean, flat surface.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover. This softens the adhesive. Carefully use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and slide it around the edges to release the adhesive. Gently remove the back cover and set it aside.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the mid-frame. Carefully lift the mid-frame using a spudger. Locate the battery connector and gently pry it up to disconnect it from the motherboard.
Remove the Broken Screen
Apply heat around the edges of the front screen to loosen the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly, then insert a plastic opening tool to carefully separate the screen from the frame. Disconnect the display cable from the motherboard. Remove the broken screen completely.
Install the New Screen
Carefully align the new replacement screen with the frame. Connect the display cable to the motherboard. Test the new screen by powering on the device momentarily. If it functions correctly, power off the device again and proceed to the next step.
Reassemble the Device
Reattach the mid-frame and secure it with screws. Reconnect the battery connector. Apply adhesive tape or glue around the edges of the new screen and press it firmly into place. Ensure there are no gaps or misalignments.
Reattach the Back Cover
Align the back cover with the phone's body. Press it firmly to ensure the adhesive bonds securely. Use a heat gun to gently heat the edges if needed, reinforcing the adhesive bond.
