Tools Required

Follow these 10 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Phone
Press and hold the power button on your OnePlus Nord N30 5G until the power menu appears. Tap 'Power Off' and wait for the device to completely shut down.
Remove the SIM Card Tray
Use the SIM card ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray from the side of the phone. Set the tray aside in a safe place.
Heat the Edges of the Screen
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the screen. This will soften the adhesive holding the screen in place. Work evenly around the perimeter for 1-2 minutes.
Lift the Screen
Apply a suction cup near the edge of the screen and gently pull up to create a gap. Use a plastic opening tool to carefully slide around the edges to loosen the adhesive. Take care not to insert the tool too deeply.
Disconnect the Battery
Remove any screws securing the battery connector shield with a Phillips #00 screwdriver. Use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Disconnect the Screen
Locate and gently disconnect the screen connector using a spudger. Ensure that all connections are free before attempting to fully remove the screen.
Remove the Old Screen
Carefully lift the screen from the device, ensuring any adhesive is fully detached. Be mindful of any remaining connectors or cables.
Install the New Screen
Align the new replacement screen with the device. Gently connect the screen connector to the motherboard and press lightly to secure it.
Reattach the Battery
Reconnect the battery connector and replace any screws securing the connector shield. Ensure it is firmly seated.
Seal the Phone and Reinsert SIM Tray
Apply new adhesive strips around the edges and firmly press the screen into place. Reinsert the SIM card tray, ensuring it is properly seated.
