1

Power Off and Remove SIM Card

3 min

Begin by powering off your OnePlus Nord N300 5G. Use the SIM card ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device.

2

Apply Heat to Soften Adhesive

5 min

Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently warm the edges of the back cover. This will soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove. Be careful not to overheat the device.

3

Remove the Back Cover

10 min

Using a suction cup, gently lift the back cover. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work your way around the edges to release the adhesive. Set the back cover aside once removed.

4

Disconnect the Battery

5 min

Locate the battery connector and use a spudger to carefully disconnect it. This step is crucial to avoid any electrical damage during the repair process.

5

Remove the Old Screen

15 min

Using the Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the display assembly. Gently pry the display assembly using the plastic opening tool. Be cautious of the display cables. Disconnect any cables attached to the screen.

6

Install the New Screen

10 min

Align the new screen with the device and reconnect the display cables. Secure the new screen with screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver. Ensure the screen is properly seated.

7

Reconnect the Battery and Test

5 min

Reconnect the battery connector. Before sealing the device, power it on to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly. Test the touchscreen and display for responsiveness and clarity.

Seal the Device

7 min

Apply new adhesive strips or double-sided tape around the edges of the back cover. Carefully press the back cover into place, ensuring a secure fit. Reinsert the SIM card tray.
