Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Before starting the repair, ensure that your OnePlus Ace 5 Pro 5G is completely powered off to prevent any electrical damage or short circuits.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift a corner of the back cover, then insert a plastic opening tool to gently pry it open, working your way around the edges until the cover is removed.
Disconnect the Battery Connector
Locate the battery connector shield and remove it using a Phillips #00 screwdriver. Use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Remove the Battery
Use a spudger to carefully lift the battery from its compartment. If necessary, gently heat the back of the battery to soften the adhesive. Use caution to avoid bending or puncturing the battery.
Install the New Battery
Place the new battery into the compartment, pressing it firmly into place. Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard, ensuring a secure connection.
Reattach the Back Cover
Reapply adhesive strips to the edges of the back cover if necessary. Carefully align and press the back cover into place, ensuring a tight seal around the edges.
Power On the Device
Once the back cover is securely in place, power on your OnePlus Ace 5 Pro 5G to ensure the new battery is functioning correctly and the device is operating normally.
