Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button on your Samsung Galaxy A04 until the power menu appears. Select 'Power Off' and wait for your device to completely shut down.
Remove the Back Cover
Using a plastic opening tool, gently pry off the back cover starting from the bottom corner. Carefully work your way around the edges to release all clips holding the back cover in place.
Disconnect the Battery
Locate the battery connector on the motherboard. Use a nylon spudger to carefully disconnect the battery connector to ensure the device is not powered during the repair.
Remove the Screws and Midframe
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove all screws securing the midframe. Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry the midframe away from the device. Take care not to damage any cables.
Detach the Old Screen
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to evenly heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive. Apply a suction cup near the top edge to lift the screen slightly, then use a plastic opening tool or spudger to carefully separate the screen from the frame.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame and gently press it into place. Ensure all connectors are properly aligned and securely attached. Use adhesive strips or double-sided tape to secure the screen.
Reassemble the Device
Reattach the midframe and secure it with the screws removed earlier. Reconnect the battery connector, ensuring it is firmly in place. Carefully snap the back cover onto the device, ensuring all clips are engaged.
