Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Hold the power button and select 'Power Off' to shut down your Galaxy Note 10 completely. This is crucial to avoid any electrical shock or damage during the repair.
Heat the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to evenly heat the edges of the back cover. This will soften the adhesive holding the back cover in place. Be careful not to overheat the device, which can damage internal components.
Remove the Back Cover
Apply a suction cup near the edge of the heated back cover to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and gently pry around the edges to loosen the adhesive. Carefully remove the back cover.
Disconnect the Battery
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the midframe. Carefully lift the midframe using a spudger. Once exposed, use a plastic tool to disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Remove the Old Screen
Heat the front of the phone to soften the adhesive under the screen. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly, then insert a plastic opening tool to separate the screen from the frame. Work slowly to avoid damaging the display cables.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the device frame and carefully connect the display cables to the motherboard. Press the screen gently into place, ensuring all edges are secured. Use new adhesive strips or screen adhesive to secure the screen.
Reassemble the Device
Reconnect the battery connector and replace the midframe. Secure it with screws. Carefully align and press the back cover onto the device. Apply gentle heat if necessary to help the adhesive bond.
Power On and Test
Power on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to ensure the new screen is functioning properly. Check for touch responsiveness and display clarity to confirm a successful installation.
