Tools Required
- Phillips #00 screwdriver
- Plastic opening tool
- Suction cup

Follow these 9 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button until the power off option appears. Tap it and wait for the device to completely shut down.
Remove the SIM Card Tray
Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM card tray and gently press to eject the tray. Remove it and set aside.
Heat the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to evenly heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Do not overheat to avoid damage.
Open the Back Cover
Use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly, then insert an opening pick or plastic card into the gap. Carefully slide it around the edges to separate the adhesive and remove the back cover.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the midframe. Gently lift the midframe and disconnect the battery connector using a spudger.
Remove the Old Screen
Carefully disconnect the screen's ribbon cable. Use the heat gun to soften the adhesive around the screen edges. Gently pry the old screen off with a plastic opening tool.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen and connect the ribbon cable to the motherboard. Ensure it fits snugly and securely in place.
Reassemble the Device
Reattach the midframe and secure it with screws. Reconnect the battery connector. Carefully align and press the back cover into place, ensuring the adhesive sticks.
Power On and Test the Device
Reinsert the SIM card tray. Power on the device to test the new screen and ensure all functions are working correctly.
