Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite completely. Use the SIM card ejection tool to remove the SIM card tray from the side of the phone.
Heat the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to evenly heat the edges of the back cover. This will soften the adhesive holding the cover in place. Heat the edges for about 2-3 minutes, moving the heat source in a circular motion to avoid overheating any area.
Remove the Back Cover
Once heated, use a suction cup to gently lift one edge of the back cover. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully slide it around the edges to release the adhesive. Be patient and avoid using excessive force to prevent cracking the glass back.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the midframe. Carefully lift the midframe and disconnect the battery connector using a spudger to prevent any power flow to the phone.
Remove the Old Screen
Heat the front of the phone to soften the screen adhesive. Use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to lift and separate the old screen from the frame. Be cautious of the display cable and gently disconnect it once accessible.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame. Reconnect the display cable to the motherboard. Ensure that the screen is properly aligned before pressing it into place. Use adhesive strips or glue to secure the new screen.
Reassemble the Phone
Reconnect the battery. Place the midframe back and secure it with screws. Carefully align the back cover and press it into place, applying even pressure to ensure the adhesive bonds properly.
Final Checks and Power On
Reinsert the SIM card tray. Power on the device and test the new screen for touch responsiveness and display quality. Ensure all functions operate as expected before concluding the repair.
