Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove Battery
Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S2 completely. Once the device is powered down, remove the back cover by gently prying it open with your fingers or a plastic opening tool. Remove the battery by lifting it from the bottom edge.
Remove SIM Card and MicroSD Card
Eject the SIM card tray using a SIM card removal tool or a paperclip. Remove the SIM card and any MicroSD card present.
Unscrew and Remove Rear Midframe
Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove all screws securing the rear midframe. Carefully pry open the midframe using a plastic opening tool. Set the screws aside safely for reassembly.
Disconnect Display Connectors
Locate and carefully disconnect the display connectors using tweezers or a spudger. Be gentle to avoid damaging the connectors.
Heat and Remove the Old Screen
Use a hairdryer or heat gun to gently heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly, then slide a plastic opening tool around the edges to separate the screen from the device. Be cautious not to apply too much force.
Install the New Screen
Place the new screen onto the device and ensure it aligns properly. Connect the display connectors securely. Apply double-sided adhesive tape to the edges of the frame to secure the new screen in place.
Reassemble the Device
Carefully place the rear midframe back onto the device. Reinsert and tighten all screws removed earlier. Ensure the midframe is securely attached.
Reinsert Battery and Test the Device
Reinsert the battery, SIM card, and MicroSD card. Power on the device to test the new screen. Ensure the touch functionality and display clarity are satisfactory.
