Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. Use the SIM card ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device.
Heat and Remove Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to evenly heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Carefully use a suction cup to lift the back cover, then gently insert a plastic opening tool to separate it. Work slowly to avoid cracking the glass.
Disconnect Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the internal components. Carefully lift the mid-frame and disconnect the battery connector using a spudger to prevent any power flow.
Remove Old Display
Apply heat around the edges of the front screen to soften the adhesive. Use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to carefully lift and separate the screen from the frame. Be cautious of the ribbon cables connecting the screen to the device.
Install New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame and connect the ribbon cables. Ensure all connections are secure before proceeding.
Reassemble the Device
Reattach the battery connector and secure the mid-frame with screws. Apply new adhesive strips around the edges of the back cover, then press it firmly into place. Reinsert the SIM card tray.
Test the New Screen
Power on your device to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly. Test touch responsiveness and display quality to confirm a successful repair.
