Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Press and hold the power button on your Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, then select 'Power Off' from the menu. Wait until the device is completely powered down before proceeding.
Remove the Back Cover
Gently heat the edges of the back cover using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift the edge of the back cover, then insert a plastic opening tool to gently pry it away. Work slowly around the perimeter to avoid cracking the back glass.
Disconnect the Battery
Locate the battery connector and use a spudger to carefully disconnect it from the motherboard. This step ensures that no electrical current is flowing through the device during the repair.
Remove the Old Screen
Heat the front of the phone where the screen is adhered using a heat gun or hair dryer. Use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to carefully lift and separate the screen from the frame. If necessary, use isopropyl alcohol to soften the adhesive. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to internal components.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame. Ensure the connectors are properly aligned, then gently press it into place. Use adhesive strips or double-sided tape to secure the screen firmly to the device.
Reconnect the Battery
Reattach the battery connector to the motherboard. Ensure it is securely connected to restore power to the device.
Reattach the Back Cover
Apply new adhesive strips to the edges of the back cover. Press it firmly onto the device, ensuring it is securely attached. Apply gentle pressure around the perimeter to ensure a solid seal.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device and test the new screen to ensure it is functioning correctly. Check for responsiveness, display quality, and proper alignment.
