Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Use the SIM card eject tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device. This will prevent any damage to the SIM card during the repair process.
Heat and Remove Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Once heated, use a suction handle to lift a corner of the back cover and insert a plastic opening tool to carefully pry it off. Work your way around the edges until the cover is removed. Be cautious to not damage the fingerprint sensor cable if present.
Disconnect the Battery
Remove the screws securing the midframe covering the battery connection using a Phillips #00 screwdriver. Use a spudger to disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard to prevent any electrical damage during the repair.
Remove the Front Screen
Use the heat gun or hair dryer again to heat the edges of the front screen. Carefully use the suction handle to lift the screen and insert a plastic opening tool to separate it from the frame. Be gentle to avoid damaging the display cables.
Install the New Screen
Carefully align the new screen with the device frame and connect the display cables to the motherboard. Ensure the connectors are securely fastened. If necessary, clean the area with isopropyl alcohol to ensure proper adhesion.
Secure the Screen and Reassemble
Apply new adhesive strips or screen adhesive around the edges of the device frame. Carefully press the new screen into place, ensuring it is securely attached. Reconnect the battery and replace the midframe cover, securing it with the screws.
Reattach the Back Cover
Reapply heat to the edges of the back cover if necessary to soften the adhesive. Align the back cover with the phone and press it firmly into place. Ensure all edges are sealed properly to maintain the device's waterproof integrity.
