Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Ensure that your Samsung Galaxy S22 is completely powered off before you begin. Hold the power button and select 'Power Off' to shut down the device.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Once heated, use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to carefully lift and remove the back cover. Be gentle to avoid cracking the glass.
Disconnect the Battery
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the midframe. Carefully lift the midframe and disconnect the battery connector with a spudger to prevent any power from reaching the internal components during the repair.
Remove the Display Assembly
Apply heat around the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive. Insert a plastic opening tool between the screen and the frame to gently pry apart the display assembly. Use a suction cup to assist in lifting the screen. Take care to avoid damaging the display cables.
Install the New Screen
Align the new display carefully with the frame. Connect the display cables and ensure everything is properly seated. Avoid using excessive force which can damage the connectors.
Secure the Display
Use adhesive strips or screen adhesive to secure the new screen to the frame. Ensure the adhesive is evenly applied to prevent future lifting or separation.
Reassemble the Device
Reconnect the battery connector and position the midframe back into place. Secure it using the screws removed earlier. Carefully reattach the back cover using heat and pressure to ensure it adheres properly.
