Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Ensure that your Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is completely powered off. Press and hold the power button, then select 'Power Off' from the menu. Wait for the device to shut down completely before proceeding.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Slide a plastic spudger or opening tool along the seam to carefully pry the back cover away from the chassis. Take care not to bend or crack the cover.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector shield. Carefully lift the shield with tweezers and disconnect the battery connector using a spudger to avoid any electrical discharge during the repair.
Remove the Screen Assembly
Apply gentle heat around the edges of the screen to loosen the adhesive. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly, then insert a plastic opening tool to separate the screen from the frame. Disconnect any cables connecting the screen to the motherboard using tweezers.
Install the New Screen
Carefully attach the new screen by connecting the cables to the motherboard. Align the screen with the frame and press it gently into place, ensuring it fits snugly. Use new adhesive strips or tape to secure the screen, ensuring no gaps remain.
Reconnect the Battery and Replace the Back Cover
Reconnect the battery connector and replace the connector shield, securing it with screws. Align the back cover and press it firmly into place, applying gentle heat if necessary to ensure the adhesive bonds properly.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device and verify the new screen is functioning correctly. Check for responsiveness and display quality to ensure the replacement was successful.
