Follow these 9 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Ensure your Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus is powered off. Use the SIM eject tool to remove the SIM card tray and set it aside.
Heat the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover. This will soften the adhesive. Keep the heat source moving and avoid overheating any one spot.
Remove the Back Cover
Once the adhesive is softened, use a suction handle to lift the back cover slightly. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work your way around the edges to separate the cover from the frame.
Disconnect Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector bracket. Use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Remove Old Screen
Heat the front of the device to soften the adhesive holding the screen. Use the suction handle and plastic opening tool to carefully separate the old screen from the frame, starting from the edges.
Clean and Prepare the Frame
Use tweezers to remove any remaining adhesive from the frame. Clean the area with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to ensure a smooth surface for the new adhesive.
Install New Screen
Carefully align the new screen with the frame. Apply adhesive strips or tape to the edges of the frame, then press the new screen into place, ensuring a secure fit.
Reconnect Battery and Secure Back Cover
Reconnect the battery connector and secure it with the bracket. Replace the back cover and press around the edges to ensure the adhesive bonds.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device and test the new screen for responsiveness and display quality. Ensure all functions are working correctly.
