Follow these 7 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra completely. Use the SIM card eject tool to remove the SIM card tray and set it aside. This ensures no active connections and prepares the device for disassembly.
Heat the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover. This softens the adhesive holding the cover in place. Be sure not to overheat to avoid damaging the internal components.
Remove the Back Cover
Carefully insert a plastic opening tool into the seam between the back cover and the device frame. Use a suction cup to gently lift the back cover while sliding the tool around the edges to release the adhesive. Once loose, remove the back cover completely.
Disconnect the Battery
Locate the battery connector on the motherboard. Use a spudger to carefully disconnect the battery cable. This step is crucial to ensure there is no power running through the device during the repair.
Remove the Old Screen
Carefully detach any connectors securing the screen to the motherboard. Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive around the edges of the screen. Insert a plastic opening tool under the screen and gently pry it away from the device frame. Remove the screen completely.
Prepare and Install the New Screen
Clean the frame of any leftover adhesive using isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth. Align the new screen with the device frame and connect it to the motherboard. Secure the screen in place using adhesive strips or tape.
Reconnect the Battery and Reassemble
Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard. Carefully place and secure the back cover using new adhesive or the original if still sticky. Reinsert the SIM card tray.
