Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Prepare the Device
Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S23 completely and remove the SIM card tray using the SIM card eject tool. Place the phone on a clean, flat surface.
Heat the Edges of the Screen
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the screen. This will soften the adhesive securing the screen. Move the heat source in circular motions for about 2-3 minutes to avoid overheating.
Remove the Broken Screen
Place a suction cup near the edge of the screen and gently pull up to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work it around the edges to detach the screen from the frame. Be cautious of any cables connected to the screen.
Disconnect the Display Cables
Once the screen is loose, carefully lift it and disconnect the display cables using tweezers. Take note of how the cables are connected for reassembly.
Clean the Frame
Use isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to clean any remaining adhesive from the frame. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before proceeding.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame and carefully reconnect the display cables. Ensure the connectors are secure and properly aligned.
Secure the New Screen
Apply new adhesive strips or double-sided tape to the frame. Gently press the new screen into place, ensuring it is firmly secured. Remove any protective films from the new screen.
Reassemble and Test the Device
Reinsert the SIM card tray and power on the device. Test the new screen for functionality, including touch responsiveness and display clarity. Check all features, including the fingerprint sensor, to ensure they work correctly.
