Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Remove SIM Card
Begin by powering off your Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra completely. Once the device is off, use the SIM card eject tool to remove the SIM card tray from the phone.
Heat the Edges of the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the phone's back cover. This will soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove. Be sure to keep the heat moving to avoid damaging the cover.
Remove the Back Cover
Once the adhesive is softened, use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and gently work your way around the edges to release the adhesive. Be patient and avoid applying excessive force.
Disconnect the Battery
Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery connector cover. Carefully lift the cover and use a spudger to disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Remove the Old Screen
Heat the edges of the front screen using the heat gun or hair dryer. Use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to carefully separate the screen from the frame. Work slowly to avoid damaging the internal components.
Install the New Screen
Align the new screen with the frame and press gently to secure it. Ensure all connectors are properly aligned and seated. Reattach any necessary components before proceeding.
Reconnect the Battery and Replace Back Cover
Reconnect the battery connector and replace the connector cover, securing it with screws. Apply new adhesive strips to the back cover, align it with the phone, and press gently to secure it in place.
Test the New Screen
Power on the device and test the new screen for functionality. Ensure that the touch response is accurate, and the display is clear and without defects.
