Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Prepare the Device
Turn off your Galaxy S6 completely. Remove the SIM card tray using the SIM eject tool. Place the device on a clean, flat surface.
Heat the Back Cover
Using an iOpener or hairdryer, apply heat evenly around the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Be careful not to overheat the device.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work your way around the edges to release the adhesive. Remove the back cover and set it aside.
Disconnect the Battery
Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the midframe. Carefully lift the midframe and disconnect the battery connector using the spudger.
Remove the Broken Screen
Apply heat to the front of the device to soften the adhesive holding the screen. Use a suction cup and plastic opening tools to carefully separate the screen from the frame. Disconnect the display connector and remove the broken screen.
Install the New Screen
Connect the new screen's display connector to the motherboard. Carefully align the new screen with the frame and press it into place. Ensure the adhesive strips are applied correctly to secure the screen.
Reassemble the Device
Reconnect the battery connector and place the midframe back onto the device. Secure it with the screws removed earlier. Reattach the back cover by applying pressure to ensure the adhesive seals it properly.
Test the Device
Power on your Galaxy S6 and test the new screen for responsiveness and display quality. Ensure all functions are working correctly before completing the repair.
