Follow these 6 steps to complete your repair
Power Off and Prepare the Device
Turn off your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G completely. Remove any SIM or memory cards. Place the device on a static-free surface to begin the repair.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat around the edges of the back cover to loosen the adhesive. Carefully use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly and insert a plastic opening tool to pry it open. Work slowly to avoid cracking the glass.
Disconnect the Battery
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the mid-frame. Carefully lift the mid-frame and disconnect the battery cable using a spudger. Ensure no power is running through the device.
Remove the Old Battery
Gently insert a plastic opening tool under the battery to break the adhesive bond. Take care not to bend or puncture the battery. Use tweezers or a spudger to remove any remaining adhesive.
Install the New Battery
Align the replacement battery in the compartment. Ensure the battery cable is positioned correctly. Press the battery down firmly to secure it in place with new adhesive strips.
Reconnect and Reassemble the Device
Reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Replace the mid-frame and secure it with the Phillips screws. Carefully align and press the back cover into place, applying gentle pressure to re-adhere it.
